The industrial sector proved particularly active. As an example, during the year, amongst other transactions, we were able to conclude lettings of two units in Poole of 42,000 sq ft and 15,500 sq ft to Lush Manufacturing Ltd. It is to be hoped that this underlying momentum will continue as we progress through 2010. ”

Simon West

Simon was brought up in Plymouth and obviously decided he wanted to stay on the South coast.

Having worked in Bournemouth and Southampton, he finally settled in Bournemouth as one of the founding partners of Cowling & West.

He is a Past President of Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a current board member of Dorset Business, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Simon is an all round corporate property adviser with particular bias towards general agency, development and investment work. He has also appeared as an Expert Witness in the High Court, the Lands Tribunal, as well as at a variety of Planning Inquiries.
